Our cutting-edge research initiative, Mind Lab, is dedicated to advancing the science of happiness. Utilizing innovative techniques and Generalized Algebraic Data Types (GADTs), Mind Lab measures stress, focus, and other cognitive states to provide actionable insights. Our research not only enhances individual well-being but also contributes to the broader understanding of happiness.
The Rekhi Foundation for Happiness is committed to spreading the principles of well-being beyond the classroom. Through our seminars and workshops, we engage with communities, organizations, and individuals to share practical tools and strategies for enhancing happiness. Our outreach efforts aim to create a ripple effect, fostering a culture of well-being and positivity.
Happiness beyond borders.
Understanding the intricate relationship between the mind and happiness involves exploring various psychological and physiological processes. One fundamental aspect is the brain’s response to stress, often encapsulated by the “Fight, Flight, or Freeze” mechanism. This primal response, deeply rooted in our evolutionary past, prepares the body to face threats. During these moments, the brain triggers the release of stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, which heighten alertness, increase heart rate, and mobilize energy resources. While these responses are essential for survival, chronic activation can lead to negative health outcomes, underscoring the importance of balancing stress with strategies that promote happiness and well-being.
