Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi
Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi

Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi is the founder of R Systems and a founding member of the World Happiness Foundation. He is an Electrical Engineer graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and has a master’s degree in business from California State University. He has attended several Advanced Courses from Harvard University and University of California, Berkeley. He was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT, Kharagpur and the President’s Gold Medal from California State University. He was conferred the title of Professor Emeritus by Chandigarh University. He is an Honorary Chairman, Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. International Advisor, to Gross National Happiness Center, Bhutan, Gopichand Badminton Academy, EQ World, Singapore, and Rekhi Centre for Happiness, Amity University He is a Professor of Happiness (Adjunct Faculty) with Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, India, and Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India. He has helped many Institutes across countries to set up Centres of happiness and Mind lab for the scientific pursuit and understanding of happiness. He is actively engaged in teaching and conducting workshops on happiness. Thousands of students, faculty and the like have benefitted by attending these sessions and continue to do so

Dr. Manas K Mandal

Dr. Manas K Mandal is a cognitive neuropsychologist serving as the distinguished visiting professor at Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur. He specializes in teaching the ‘Science and Practice of Happiness’, as well as the ‘Measurement of Happiness’.

Dr. Priyadarshi Patnaik

Dr. Priyadarshi Patnaik is the Head of the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness and is working as a professor at IIT Kharagpur, Humanities and Social Sciences. He teaches the ‘Communication, Happiness and Well-being’ course.

Aneel Chima
Aneel Chima, PhD

Aneel is Associate Executive Director of the Contemplative Sciences Center (csc.virginia.edu) at the University of Virginia. Before UVA, he spent twelve years at Stanford University where he was Director of the Division of Health and Human Performance and Founding Director of the Stanford Flourishing Project. Previously, he was also Chair of the Board of Trustees at the California Institute of Integral Studies and Chair of the Veterans, Immigrants, and Refugees Trauma Institute of Sacramento (now the Ulysses Project at the UC Davis School of Medicine). He is deeply interested in the interdisciplinary understanding and promotion of flourishing for all, both individually and collectively.

Dr. Saamdu Chhetri was the founding member of GNH centre in Bhutan and served as its Chief Executive Director for 5 years. He has been teaching mindfulness practices and 'Introduction to Gross National Happiness' at the Rekhi centres.

Dr. Tanusree Dutta

With a PhD from IIT Kharagpur in experimental neuropsychology, Professor Tanusree Dutta is an associate professor at the IIM Ranchi campus. Her area of expertise is ‘Happiness at Work’ and ‘Consumer Happiness’.

Dr. A.Srihari Krishna has over a decade of corporate experience and over 17 years of academic experience. He is supporting our initiatives in the North-east region of India.

Dr. Kiran Jot Singh

Dr. Kiran Jot Singh has done his P.G.D.M. from IIM Rohtak, and Ph.D. in human–robot interaction. He is currently an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean, Industrial Relations at Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. He has also filed 12 patents with the Indian patent office. He is working on various funded projects and his research interests include human robot/computer interaction and happiness studies through technology.

Noof M. Aljneibi

Noof M. Aljneibi is a Quality of life and sustainability development advisor at the ministry of community development in the United Arab Emirates. Previously, she served as Director of the Emirates Centre for Happiness Research ECHR at the United Arab Emirates University. In 2021, Noof was awarded the International Positive Psychology Fellow award, and she is the first female Arab to be awarded this fellowship.

Mr. Arun Verma

Mr. Arun Verma is a ’serial’ creative, and a life transformation coach. He is the founder of AVDS - a Delhi based creative transformation company that transforms organisations, brands, people and spaces through creativity, human-centered design thinking, and by curating purposeful, engaging experiences. Arun is also the founder and facilitator of Creativegarh – a powerful life transformation program that helps people and organisations live a life full of passion, power, presence and purpose, fuelled by everyday creativity. Arun is guided by his life purpose of bringing joy and abundance to the world through transformation and creativity. Arun is a writer, an artist, a sculptor, an interior-furniture-lighting designer and a knitter besides being an ardent cyclist having peddled across the Himalayas all by himself.

Dr. Riya Vinayak is currently working with the Rekhi Foundation, and teaches the course ‘Science & Practice of Happiness’ at Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE) and IGDTUW, Delhi.

Dr. Pooja Sahni has done her doctoral research in Environment Neuroscience from I.I.T Delhi. She nurtures an interest and has publications of repute in the area of environmental science, nature experience, mindfulness, yoga and meditation.She has received several awards- ‘Invited Young Scholar’ by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore,“Bright Future Talent for Global Leadership” at DSM Global, The Netherlands, International Fellowship by UNESCO-IHE, The Netherlands and Varela Grant by Mind and life Institute, USA.

Dr. Hansika Singhal is a Corporate Psychologist having done her Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. Currently she is teaching the ‘Science & Practice of Happiness’ at IGDTUW, Delhi. She has been associated with various startups in the capacity of a psychometrician, Mentor and Soft Skills expert in the past.

Vibha has worked for 20+ years in the field of education and public health with organizations like the United Nations, Johns Hopkins University, Population Services International & Room to Read.Vibha’s focus is on projects in the domains of positive psychology through her non-profit Muskaan and she has conducted more than 250 Gratitude Joyshops globally in last ten years. She is also an Advisory Board Member with the World Happiness Foundation.

Dr. Reetu Sharma

Dr. Reetu Sharma is an expert in Mindfulness Meditation and its application to enhance happiness and well-being. She has authored books on happiness and education. Her first documentary film on suicide prevention was honored at the Khajuraho International Film Festival in 2020. She conducts mindfulness-based awareness programs across the country, impacting numerous lives positively.

Dr. Tal

Dr. Tal Leead (PsyD) is a psychologist, best-selling author, and founder of Happier Being™. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tal is trained in a variety of psychotherapy modalities but currently focuses on positive psychology. Her first book, “Happier Being: Your Path to Optimizing Habits, Health & Happiness” was published in September of 2022 and topped several Amazon best-seller lists. Before running her own practice, Dr. Tal worked at a Los Angeles County mental health center where she advised the top medical team on best practices and increased her patients’ well-being. She received her doctorate degree in psychology (Psy.D) from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University.
